Twenty judges and court officials from Vietnam paid a visit to the Korea Copyright Commission on October 15, 2013. The event was opened by a welcoming speech by Chairman Yu Byong-han and an answering speech by the head of the trainees (vice president of Hanoi Economic Court), which was followed by a lecture on ‘Korean Copyright System and Global Copyright Issues’ by research director Choi Gyeong-soo, The trainees visited various places in the Commission from the Mediation Office to Copyright Library and Registration Room, and expressed their deep interest in the advanced Korean copyright system. They have been training at the Judicial Academy since September this year as a part of the project for strengthening the capacity of Vietnamese judges and court officials in the medium and long term, which will continue until November this year.
