Chairman Lee, Bo-Kyung, lectured on "Copyright in Korea" at the EUCCK

□ Following the lecture session, the EUCCK presented an appreciation plaque to Chairman Lee for his contribution to the copyright industry and hoped to establish further relationship and mutual cooperation with KCC.
 
□ The European Union Chamber of Commerce in Korea(EUCCK) invited Chairman Lee, Bo-Kyoung to give a lecture for the Quarterly IP Luncheon meeting at the Lotte Hotel on Tuesday, May 25. The Chairman lectured on “Copyright in Korea - Adapting to Online Challenge.” 
 
□ The member firms of EUCCK IP Center including Tom Duke, the Director of EUCCK IP Committee and Giosafat RIGANÒ, the Responsible-Head of Italian Trade Commission’s IPR Desk Seoul, attended the meeting.

□ During the lecture session, Chairman Lee outlined the latest amendment of Korean Copyright Act, including detailed process of "crack-down system for online copyright infringement". Chairman Lee also emphasized the significance of implementing Korea-EU FTA and the importance of brand protection in the copyright industry. The participants of the meeting expressed great interest in the lecture.
