Title WIPO STUDY VISIT TO THE KOREA COPYRIGHT COMMISSION 2012

The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Copyright Commission is hosting “STUDY VISIT TO THE KOREA COMMISSION”, a 3-day program jointly held by World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), to introduce South Korea’s systems and experiences in improving the legal systems for management of copyright and in promoting public awareness of copyright to 14 invited high-level government officials in charge of copyright issues from 13 countries in Asia, Africa and Middle East (including Myanmar, Bhutan, Laos, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Mongolia, Nepal, India, Pakistan, Cambodia, Kuwait, Kenya and Senegal).

 

This event will be held for a week until the 7th of this month, and is expected to help the invited guests to understand Korean copyright management system by introducing them various efforts implemented in South Korea to enhance its legal system for copyright protection and to promote public awareness as well as by making them visit relevant organizations.
