During the seminar, the theme of which was “Cooperation Plan of the Collective Copyright Management Societies for the development of Korea and Vietnam's Copyright Industries", schemes for mutual cooperation on copyright industries were discussed. The seminar also aimed to reinforce the Korean cultural content's expansion into overseas markets, as well as its protection.

The seminar was a forum for both countries' government and industry-academic professionals to build networks and share utilisation methods of cultural content and other copyright-related issues. Ultimately, the seminar was an opportunity for Korea and Vietnam to bolster mutual exchange and cooperation in the field of copyright.
