Korea Copyright Commission signed an MOU with Korean Bioinformation Centre, Biological Research Information Center, and Naver Corporation for the diffusion of sharing culture of the biological research resources images on May the 28th. Upon signing the MOU, the four organisations agreed on multilateral cooperation on holding the Korean natural ecology photography contest, opening to the public of the copyrighted works gained through the contest, constituting an organising and practice committees for the holding of the contest. Based on this agreement, the organisations will collaboratively hold the contest from this year. "We hope that, by opening and sharing the images that convey ecological diversity through the photography contest on Korean biological research resources images, the environment where copyrighted works are shared will take root.", said a representative of KCC.
