Date 2013-01-02

Korea Copyright Commission signed a MOU with Daegu Digital Industry Promotion Agency (Director Chae, Jonggyu) on ‘business cooperation for providing comprehensive copyright service’ and held a launch ceremony for ‘Daegu-Gyeongbuk Comprehensive Copyright Service Center’ on December 21.

The agreement aims to build a cooperative relationship between the Commission and the Agency in order to facilitate a ‘comprehensive copyright service’ for one-man companies and smaller businesses in the region, which are exposed to the risk of offensive litigations by law firms due to their lack of information or awareness on copyright.

The commission is planning to provide individualized or packaged comprehensive copyright services of the Commission, such as legal counseling, registration, mediation, deposit, consulting and education, efficiently organized to meet the needs of companies, by securing regional service centers around the country.
